Geomatics - Elevation Survey of the Kings Theatre in Glasgow
Star Net Geomatics was commissioned to carry out an elevation survey of The Kings Theatre, Glasgow.
The survey was required as part of a planning application to position an air handling unit on the roof of the building. Planning conditions required that the air handling unit was not visible from street level.
The survey was carried out using reflectorless Trimble total station instrumentation. A total of 800 observations were taken on the building façade.
Deliverables were a front elevation drawing and cross section showing line of sight from the street supplied on AutoCAD format. Client : SVM Consultants, Glasgow.
