Design & Build - New Tower System for SSE in Tyndrum (UK)
Star Net, working with SSE Project Managers, and Local Planners, designed and built a new tower system at Tyndrum, Scotland.
The existing site at Tyndrum was within a SSSI area, which caused difficulties in the selection and design of the new structure. Star Net's solution was to use a compact ballast quick solution which was accepted by all parties.
The tower installation was carried out in 1 day with installation of new users and existing carried out the day after. Due to the speed of the deployment minimum disruption was felt by existing SSE customers.
