Star Net and WIG raise money for ChildLine
Star Net and WIG joined forces on Saturday the 5th of June to play in a 5-a-side football tournament for a very good cause!
The team named “WigStar” and composed by Star Net and WIG employees represented Japan in a world cup tournament that faced 20 teams from all over Scotland. WigStar’s great performance secured a place in the semi-final where they were beaten by a strong Uruguayan team.
WigStar raised £830 which was donated to NSPCC’s ChildLine, the UK’s free, confidential helpline dedicated to children and young people. NSPCC is the only UK children's charity with statutory powers to safeguard children at risk of abuse.
