Star Net engaged by Petrofac to 3D scan the Beryl Alpha Platform
Star Net, in partnership with Axiom have been engaged to provide highly detailed 3D pipework models of the Beryl Alpha platform.
Star Net have mobilised a survey team to the Beryl Alpha at short notice to utilise their high definition laser scanning techniques, generating millimetre accurate high definition point cloud data of the pipes and surrounding areas. 3D AutoCAD models of the existing pipework will be generated using the accurate point cloud data which can then be used as fabrication designs for the replacement pipes.
Petrofac have engaged Star Net knowing they can be safe in the knowledge that the pipework designs generated will be an exact fit to the existing pipework.
Star Net will be utilising their highly innovative isiteTM software to deliver the results.
