Griffin Wind Farm Topographic Survey
Star Net has been asked to carry out a topographic survey for the proposed Griffin Wind Farm near Aberfeldy. The proposed windfarm will comprise of 68 wind turbine generators, each of up to 77 metre tower height and approximately 35km of access tracks.
We intend to carry out the survey mainly by GPS equipment. Total station instruments will be used where necessary. The project will be phased due to tree clearing on site, and is expected to last several months.
This project is our sixth major renewables survey undertaken in 2009.
