Arqiva awards Star Net
Star Net Geomatics has secured a substantial contract with Arqiva, the UK’s leading
provider of broadcast and mobile communications infrastructure, for the provision of
UK wide telecommunication site laser scanning surveys.
This new technology, already effectively utilised worldwide in the Oil and Gas
sector, allows Star Net to collect millimetre accurate 3 dimensional data such
as equipment location, identification and orientation, structural details and
geo-referenced photography which is then delivered to the client for
asset integrity and record management.
