Topographic Survey in the Kintyre Peninsula
Star Net has recently been commissioned to carry out a topographic survey at the site of a new sub station on the Kintyre Peninsula. The Crossaig Sub Station will form part of the Kintyre to Hunterston 132kV circuit which will reinforce the electricity transmission system in this area. Kintyre has a number of existing and proposed windfarm developments.
Our survey will include the proposed sub station location, proposed cable route and landing point on the coast.The survey will also include approx 1 mile of public road and areas of proposed access roads.
The survey will be carried out by Trimble GPS equipment in the open areas and by total station under tree cover.
