Grontmij appoints Star Net Geomatics for Wind Farm survey
Star Net Geomatics has recently been commissioned to carry out a large topographic survey of a proposed wind farm near Thurso in Caithness. The Baillie Wind Farm will have 21 wind turbines with an installed capacity up to 57.5 megawatts (MW) of renewable electricity. The survey extends to more than 50 Hectares will be undertaken using real-time kinematic GPS methods.
